Careers
Two tracks, one standard of work
Innate advises and builds. That gives the firm two career tracks, and gives people in each one a shorter route to seeing whether their recommendations survive contact with implementation.
Why Innate
Advisory and engineering under one roof
Consultants here do not hand a recommendation over a wall. Engineers here do not build to a specification written by someone who has never met the client. Both tracks work on the same engagements, which is unusual and is the main reason people join.
Work for government departments and educational institutions is assessed on documentation and audit trail as much as on outcome. That is a demanding standard to work to, and it is a fast way to learn.
- Consulting
- Financial, regulatory and management advisory for government bodies, educational institutions and growing businesses. The work runs from diagnosis through to the documentation a client is audited against.
- Product and engineering
- Software Innate designs, builds and then supports. Engineers here see an implementation through past go-live, which is where most of the difficult learning is.
- Where you would work
- Mumbai, Lucknow, Indore, Jaipur, Petaling Jaya. Location for a given role is stated on the posting.
- How we work
- Quality, Reliability, Sustainability — the same three commitments we hold client work to apply internally.
Hiring process
Four steps, no surprises
The process is the same for every role. Where a role needs an extra conversation, we say so before it starts.
01
Application
You send a CV and a short note on the work you want to do. We read both. Every application receives a decision.
02
Conversation
A call with someone from the practice you would join, covering your experience, the role as it actually exists, and what you are looking for next.
03
Task or case discussion
A short exercise or a structured discussion of a problem close to the real work. Scoped to respect your time, and the same for every candidate for a given role.
04
Offer
Terms, start date and reporting line confirmed in writing, with the scope of the role stated plainly so there are no surprises in the first month.
Open roles
No positions open at present
There are no advertised vacancies at the moment. We do read speculative applications, and hiring in both tracks is driven by engagements rather than a fixed calendar, so a good application arriving between openings is worth sending.
Tell us which track interests you, the kind of client work you want to be doing in two years, and attach a CV.
Interested in working with us?
Applications and enquiries about future openings both go through the same form. Tell us which track interests you and what you want to be working on.
