Engagement types
Three kinds of buyer, three different tests
- Government bodies
- Work is assessed on documentation, audit trail and adherence to procurement conditions as much as on outcome. Deliverables have to survive scrutiny long after the engagement closes.
- Educational institutions
- Systems have to serve administrators, faculty and students at once, run on constrained budgets, and hold up through admission and examination peaks.
- Private organisations
- MSMEs, family businesses and startups need regulatory confidence and working systems without the overhead of a large internal function. Speed and cost discipline are part of the specification.
